The Harwood Hill was a great place for a stay in Bennington, VT. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was fresh and ample (bagels, yogurt with granola and blueberries, bananas, toast, cereal, etc.). The host, Martha was very welcoming and pleasant. The hotel is very close to the center of town (5 min drive). I highly recommend The Harwood Hill.

I arrived after check-in hours, and I called first to let them know. They had my room all ready, door open, key inside, receipt inside, light on, air conditioner on.
